A: Each cake is individual and is therefore priced according to size, design and complexity. Some guide prices are given here

Q: I have an idea in mind for a cake. How do I know that you will be able to do it?
A: Look at the examples of my cakes to see if there is anything similar to what you have in mind. This should give you an idea of the sort of cakes I have created for previous customers. Contact me with your suggestions and I will do my utmost to create the cake you have in mind...
Q: What information will you need to help design the cake I want?
A: I will discuss what you want to have created and what or who it’s for. As each cake is individual this is an essential phase. If you’re stuck for ideas I have lots of books for you to look through - and of course you can look at all of my examples
Q: How much notice do I need to give you if I want to order a cake?
A: It really depends on what type of cake you require, but it's always best to give me as much notice as you possibly can. Slots fill up very quickly and weekend celebrations are very popular so advance booking is highly recommended. You don't have to decide right away exactly how you want your cake, but it is useful to have an idea.
Q: I only want a small sponge cake how long will it take?
A: This can depend on the design and detail you want on your cake. Even the more basic cakes can still be time consuming. I may be able to 'fit it in' though, depending on how busy I am at the time. Contact me to find out...
Q: I have seen a cake on the internet that I really like. Can you make one like it?
A: Although I would prefer not to directly copy someone elses work I can recreate something similar. It may be that a few details can be changed to make the cake more individual and unique for you...
 
Q: I would like to keep the decoration/topper from the cake you made me - what’s the best way to do this?
 A: Although the sugar decorations are all edible they may be kept as keepsakes if you wish. They need to be kept dry and dust free, away from direct sunlight and damp or humid conditions.  Carefully wrapped in kitchen roll in a cardboard box or airtight tin, and placed somewhere safe would be ideal...
 
Q: Can you deliver my cake for me?
A: I can usually deliver locally for a small charge per mile including my return journey. This would have to be requested when you place your order, and is subject to my being available. Alternatively you can arrange to pick your cake up at a time when it is convenient...
